27 killed as massive fire destroys Bangkok pub

BANGKOK, 13 July 2026 (TON): A massive fire swept through a pub in Bangkok early Monday, killing at least 27 people and injuring several others, officials said.

Rescue teams said the fire broke out around midnight and firefighters brought it under control within about 30 minutes. Images from the scene showed severe damage inside the building.

Thailand's Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said 27 people died at the scene, while the injured were taken to nearby hospitals. Authorities said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
