BEIJING , 21 July 2026 (TON): Chinese Premier Li Qiang held talks with Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul in Beijing on Monday, with both sides agreeing to deepen bilateral cooperation and strengthen long-standing ties.
Li said China is ready to expand cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, increase trade, and work with Thailand in emerging sectors to support shared economic growth. He also stressed the importance of stronger political trust between the two countries.
Anutin reaffirmed Thailand's commitment to the one-China policy and said his government will continue efforts against cross-border crime while ensuring a safe environment for Chinese tourists and businesses. He also welcomed China's global initiatives and called for closer cooperation on international platforms.
