BEIJING, 25 July 2026 (TON): Five people were killed and three others injured after a loess soil collapse buried a house in Haoyi Village, Shanxi Province, northern China.
Local authorities confirmed that all eight trapped victims were rescued from the debris. Three survivors were taken to hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.
More than 550 emergency personnel, including firefighters, police officers, and medical teams, took part in the rescue operation.
