BEIJING, 10 July, 2026 (TON): Indian Ambassador Vikram Doraiswami visited the centuries-old Kaiyuan Temple in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, highlighting the long-standing cultural links between India and China.
Accompanied by Indian Consul General Gince Mattom, the ambassador was welcomed by the temple's Chief Monk, Ven. Shi De Sheng. The visit emphasized the site's historical and architectural significance.
According to the Indian Embassy, the temple reflects centuries of cultural interaction, blending traditional Chinese craftsmanship with artistic influences rooted in ancient Indian heritage.
