NEW DELHI, 1 JULY 2026 (TON): On Wednesday , 13 people were killed and 32 others injured in two separate bus accidents on expressways in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh states of India.
In Dausa district of Rajasthan eight people were killed and 24 injured after a bus hit a truck and caught fire on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway near Dhanawda.
A separate accident in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh's, five people, were killed and eight others injured after a bus collided with a car and fell off the Agra-Lucknow Expressway around 4.30 am near Devkhari village.
Police and district officials supervised rescue operations in both states and shifted the injured to hospitals while cause of accidents in under investigation.Police said that it is suspected that these accidents were a result of terrorist act.
