ASSAM, 13 June 2026 (TON): Five Indian Air Force personnel have lost their lives after an AN-32 transport aircraft crashed at the Roureah Air Force Station in Assam’s Jorhat on Saturday, Indian Air Force officials confirmed.

The co-pilot survived the crash and is currently undergoing treatment.  

According to the IAF, the AN-32 transport aircraft was involved in an accident during its landing approach at Jorhat Air Force Station and caught fire following the crash.  

Air Force officials and technical investigators are examining the crash site to determine the cause of the accident.
