NEW DELHI, 10 July, 2026 (TON): India and Afghanistan reviewed their bilateral engagement during the fourth meeting of the India-Afghanistan Joint Committee, reaffirming cooperation across several key sectors.

Officials discussed humanitarian assistance, development projects, healthcare, education, trade, food security, connectivity, capacity building and sports, while assessing progress in existing initiatives.

India reiterated its commitment to supporting the welfare and development of the Afghan people. Afghan representatives welcomed New Delhi's continued assistance and expressed appreciation for its sustained partnership in multiple areas of cooperation.
