NEW DELHI June 22, 2026 (TON): India is in talks with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to sell its flagship defence systems, including the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile.

The discussions are in the early stages and form part of growing defence cooperation between India and the UAE. If finalized, the deal would make the UAE one of the latest international buyers of the missile system, which was jointly developed by India and Russia.

Negotiations are ongoing, and no final agreement has been announced. The potential sale would represent another major defence export for India as it seeks to expand its presence in the global arms market.
