NEW DELHI June 29, 2026 (TON): India announced that Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth will assume charge as the new Chief of the Army Staff on Tuesday.
Currently serving as the Vice Chief of the Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Dhiraj Seth will succeed General Upendra Dwivedi upon his retirement. Meanwhile, Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit will take over as the Vice Chief of the Indian Air Force on Wednesday.
