SRINAGAR, 26 FEBRUARY  2026 (TON): General Officer Commanding-in-Chief India Army's Western Command, Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, today declared that India will no longer be deterred by Pakistan's "nuclear deterrence", adding that India's response will be harsher and stronger than what was witnessed last time. He also dubbed Pakistan nuclear might as "Nuclear Bluff".While addressing personnel of Indian Army at a ceremony held at Indian held Jammu and Kashmir state Pathankot ground, he said, threats of nuclear escalation from across the border is a bluff born out of weakness as Pakistan cannot face India. Lieutenant  General Katiyar declared that "Operation Sindoor"Is not over and this time it will not be limited to destroying terrorist bases or airbases as it would result in occupying Pakistani territories, adding, "The victory will be such that they will have to kneel and accept defeat before the world."
Meanwhile, India claims their their are doubts that Pakistan shifted at least four of their nuclear weapons across the Indian Ocean several days before the nuclear explosions of 28 May 1998 are been verified by India agencies but same could not be confirmed.
Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state. She is neither involved in proliferation of nuclear weapons nor has any future intention of getting involved in such an affair.Pakistan being a responsible nuclear power has taken all safeguards, fully complying standard set by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Pakistan has foolproof security and monitoring system and  promotes safe, secure and peaceful use of nuclear technology.
