JHARKHAND, 1 July 2026 (TON): At least 12 members of Tritiya Sammelan Prastuti Committee were arrested by Jharkhand's Chatra district Police.

Indian authorities have linked Tritiya Sammelan Prastuti Committee with proscribed CPI (Maoist) to find an excuse to prosecute innocent neglected faction of Jharkhand’s population.

Earlier, the Police also apprehended two members of same committee during a raid near Kalyanpur village within the limits of Piparwar Police Station. Those arrested were identified as Massi Tigga (29) and Kiran Nagadwar (45).

The human rights violations in India, especially in Eastern states and State of Jammu and Kashmir is quite frequent. There is a long list of extra judicial killings while disappearing or kidnapping and harassment of those who dare challenge the authority at New Delhi is a matter that happens every second day.
