NEW DELHI, 10 JUNE 2026 (TON): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a key European visit from June 13-18, during which he will attend the G7 Summit in France and Slovakia to strengthen bilateral cooperation and strategic ties.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the visit begins with Modi travelling to France, where he is expected to participate in the G7 Summit and hold bilateral discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron. The meetings aim to review the progress of the India-France partnership and explore new opportunities for collaboration across multiple sectors.
The Prime Minister will also travel to Slovakia, marking an important step in India’s engagement with Central Europe. The visit is expected to include discussions with Slovak leadership on strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas such as manufacturing, trade, investment, and industrial partnerships. It is also significant as it represents the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Slovakia since the country’s independence in 1993.
