NEW DELHI, 31 May 2026 (TON): Reviewing the passing-out parade of the 150th course at National Defence Academy (NDA) at Khadakwasla, the Indian Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi said today that India is preparing for Operation Sindoor 2.0.

He emphasized that the focus at present is on strengthening tri-service synergy, improving combat readiness, and adapting to the demands of future warfare.
He highlighted the increasingly transparent nature of modern battlefields, stating that surveillance and intelligence capabilities now make most movements visible to adversaries in real time.
He added, "Information warfare is only successful if the whole of nation gets together and trusts the people who are giving the information".
