Indian Tourists Lead Foreign Visitor Arrivals to Nepal in June

KATHMANDU , 3 JULY 2026 (TON): According to Nepal Tourism Board (NTB)  on Thursday Indians remained the largest group of foreign tourists visiting Nepal by air in June, with 28 per cent compared to the same month last year.

NTB stated that Nepal received a total of 91,363 foreign tourists by air during the month. The US was the second-largest source of visitors in June, followed by China.

Mani R Lamichhane, Senior Director of the Nepal Tourism Board said that the promotional campaigns by Nepal tourism industry , Social media outreach and travel content created by Indian influencers further boosted tourism in Nepal.
