India and Pakistan on Saturday 10th May 2025, agreed reciprocal de-escalation to avert war and restore regional stability by announcing a ceasefire. Both nations have officially agreed to a ceasefire by committing to halt all firings and attacks with immediate effect. Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri confirmed observance of ceasefire.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan in address to the nations at 1130 pm (PST) thanked the nation especially the Armed Forces for winning the Indian imposed war. He also thanked the media and others who stead fact and contributed in the capacities. The Secretary General UNO, the World leaders including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, China, USA and other international contributed in reaching this peace agreement.
New Delhi insists that strikes on Pakistan were fully justified following the UN Security Council statement on the 22 April 2025, Pahalgam attack. However, Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA), which officially took over the investigation, has not yet finalized the investigation so how the Indian attacks on Pakistan can be justified.
Meanwhile, after the ceasefire, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has chaired high-level meeting in which fake reports about post-ceasefire attacks were discussed.
