CANBERRA , 22 July 2026 (TON): Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi called for continued cooperation with Australia to maintain the positive momentum in bilateral relations during a meeting with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong in Manila.
Wang said relations between the two countries have returned to a stable path under the guidance of their leaders, benefiting both nations and supporting regional stability.
Penny Wong said Australia is prepared to expand mutually beneficial cooperation, resolve differences through dialogue, and support the steady development of Australia-China ties.
