Hezbollah dismisses renewed ceasefire agreed by Lebanon and Israel

BEIRUT June 4, 2026 (TON): Hezbollah rejected the renewed ceasefire agreement Lebanon and Israel , Hezbollah said they want a complete Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon. The statement came as Israeli airstrikes reportedly left at least four people dead, while a U.N. peacekeeper also lost his life during exchanges of fire, local officials said.

Hezbollah leader Naim Kassem said the negotiations are absurd and humiliating. He said Hezbollah's main priorities are stopping the attacks, securing a ceasefire and ensuring Israeli forces withdraw from Lebanon.
