MANILA June 22, 2026 (TON): Three students were killed and seven others injured in a shooting at a high school in Tacloban City, Philippines, on Monday.
Police said the incident occurred at San Jose National High School during class hours. Two student suspects were taken into custody following the attack. According to initial reports, the suspects claimed they had been victims of bullying.
Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. called for stricter security measures in schools and other public places and ordered a thorough investigation into the incident.
