Keeping aside evidences of US Navy Nimitz Class Aircraft Carrier, instead of rendering an apology for committing an international crime against a sovereign state, by twist of words President Trump administration has neither accepted the responsibility of attack on Qatar’s sovereignty nor refuted it. The statement issued by White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt is difficult to transcribe in diplomatic terms as Washington is trying to evade responsibility but at the same time admits the crime.

The verbatim statement is reproduced without omitting even a comma or full stop, “Unilaterally bombing inside Qatar, a sovereign nation a close ally of United States that is working very hard and bravely taking risk with us to broke peace, does not advance Israel or United States goals. However, eliminating Hamas, who have profited the misery those living in Gaza is a worthy goal. President Trump immediately directed special Envoy Witkoff to inform the Qataris of the impending attack, which he did. The President views Qatar as a strong ally and friend of the United States and feels very badly about the location of this attack. President Trump wants all hostages in Gaza and the bodies of the dead released and this war to end now.”

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Qatar, Muhammad Bin Abdur Rahman Al Thani has exhibited the tall stature of Arab leadership; how Muslim leaders behave in a situation where so called most trusted ally proved to be worst enemy. In a statement the Prime Minister of Qatar said, "....We are not adopting a policy that is escalatory and taking it to another level. We always resort; we call for others for diplomacy but also resort for ourself. And basically that would definitely have its scar on the relationship, what happened today. But I hope by the time everyone learns the lesson that this kind of neighbourhood relationship should not be violated and should not be undermined,...."

Prime Minister of Qatar has taken a bold step by declaiming that after the unprovoked attack, the US-Israel and Qatar relationship “would definitely have its scar on the relationship” Now doubt, peaceful nations of the world committed a great blunder by pardoning USA when she terrorize the whole by dropping two two nuclear bombs on Japanese cities of Hiroshima in 1945 that killed and maimed hundreds of thousands of people, and their effects are still in the Japanese nation. It is time to pardon everyone’s past follies and take a new start towards peace and harmony between nations. But at the same time we should never forget the lesson learnt from our pasts. UNO must be more empowered in the future to handle all such issues and act as instrument of peace, ensuring equality of all nations under the UN Charter.
